Full Obituary: Jean F. Yinger, 95, of Hillsdale passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. She was born October 17, 1917 in Toledo, Ohio to Edwin S. and Mable (Wheaton) Fuller. She was married August 6, 1960 to Olin Yinger and he preceded her in death on December 30, 1975.Jean was a 1935 graduate of Hillsdale High School. She was a former x-ray technician at Hillsdale Community Health Center and a retired Michigan Bell telephone operator. Jean was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and College Baptist Church. She was an artist, a carpenter, an avid gardener and a private pilot. Jean resided in the Oak Haven area of Baw Beese Lake for over 35 years and was a resident of the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility for the past 2 1/2 years.Surviving are her twin sister, June Bommarrito of Hillsdale; three nieces, Penny (Roger) Dickinson of Jackson, Jean (Lee) Snyder of Hillsdale, and Linda (James) Loomis of Osseo; nine great nieces and nephews and sixteen great-great nieces and nephews.Besides her husband Olin, she was preceded in death by her parents, a baby sister Beth, and a nephew Randy Robison.Funeral services for Jean Yinger will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale. Interment will follow in Northlawn Cemetery, North Adams. The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.Memorial donations are suggested to the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility.
