Goodwin, Paul Stephens, age 73, of Hayden, Alabama, died Thursday, January 22, 1998. He was retired and; IBEW Local 136. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Funeral service at Messmer Funeral Home Chapel will be held Sunday, January 25, 1998 at 2:00 P.M. Burial in Cluster Springs Cemetery (Gardendale, Alabama). Survivors: wife, Lorraine B. Goodwin; five daughters, Darlene Harrison and Paula Stovers both of Warrior, Ala., Janet Dryer of Cullman, Ala., Dawn Madden of Hayden, Ala., and Robin Cates of Alaska; two sons, Paul Stephens Goodwin Jr. of Garden City, Ala. and Larry Joseph Goodwin of Trussville, Ala.; 11 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to their favorite charity. Messmer Funeral Home directing.
