John Craven, 83, Dies; Lived Here 60 Years
John Craven, 83, native of Kennard, Neb., and Omaha resident 60 years, died Thursday morning at St. Vincent's Home, Forty-fifth Street and Ames Avenue.
Mr. Craven and his wife, Theresa, celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary February 6. Mr. Craven had worked for the Parks Department.
Other survivors include: a son, Ray, and a daughter, Mrs. John P. Shields, both of Omaha.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the John A. Gentleman Mortuary to the chapel at St. Vincent's at 9. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Rosary recitation will be Friday at 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
