Kleckner, Alfred (1895 - 1990)
Alfred Kleckner, 95, Fennimore, formerly of Neillsville, died March 16, 1990, at the Good Samaritan Center, Fennimore. Masonic services were held Tuesday, March 20, 1990, at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. Members of the Neillsville Masonic Lodge served as pallbearers. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Alfred Kleckner was born March 7, 1895, at Edwardsburg, Mich., to John and Olive (Skippins) Kleckner. He received his education in Chicago and Neillsville. After his education he joined his father in operating the Kleckner Elevator Co. in Neillsville. He married Adelaide (Mary) Kass, on July 1, 1916, in Minneapolis, Minn. He took over his father's business in 1943, and continued to operate the mill until the time of his retirement in 1960.
Surviving him are one son, John, Lancaster one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Ducker, Janesville five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and wife.
Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville, was in charge of the arrangements.
