Mr. Woods died in his home about noon Monday of an apparent heart attack.
Surving are his wife, Georgia; and five sons, Darrel and Von, both of Oakland, Calif., Jim, Wichita, Kan., Kenneth, with the U.S. Army in Vietnam and Jerry, of the home.
Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Gavazza, Oakland, Mrs. Sue Christian and Mrs. Kay Marler, both of Wichita, Mrs. Joann Jackson, Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Sharon Benefiel, St. Louis.Also surviving are two halfbrothers, Charley, Natchez, Wash., and Oscar, Grandivew; three sisters, Mrs. Goldie Johnson, Willow Springs, Mrs. Erman Elliott, Oakland, and Mrs. Mary Hamilton, Riverside, Calif.; and 18 grandchildren.
