I know of four children. His son, John Judy/Tschudy, left Switzerland in 1801 and came to Tuscarawas County in 1803. His daughter Ursula (Tschudy) Kaiser came to America in 1816 with her family. John Judy, Sr., his daughter Ursula, and son John all lived in the Fry's Valley area of Tuscarawas County, Ohio. His son Andreas stayed behind in Switzerland and died there in 1809. I do not know what happened to his daughter Elizabeth. I have seen other researchers say she married John Arnold 27 March 1810 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and that her husband died in Clay County, Indiana in 1859.
The 1884 History of Tuscarawas County states in the section concerning the New Philadelphia Cemetery on page 480, that "John Judy, Sr., died in 1807, and was the second person buried in the cemetery."
NOTE: The name can be found spelled various ways, including Tschudi, Tschudy, and Judy. Some lines kept the more traditional Tschudy spelling, others went with Judy.
