Linda Adamec, age 58, of Marion, NC died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at her residence. A native of Shiawassee County, Michigan, she was born on February 11, 1947 and was a daughter of Arion Humphrey of Owosso, Michigan and Lucille Bailey of Buhl, Idaho. She was an accomplished artist and also enjoyed gardening. Her family will remember her as a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Jim Adamec of the home; two daughters, Kris Edwards and her husband Marc of Marion and Sheri Russell and her husband Matt of Hunterville; one brother, Michael Humphrey of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one sister, Dianne Moyers of Merritt Island, Fla.; Four grandchildren, Katie Edward, Adam Edwards, Benjamin Russell and Kelly Russell also survive her.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
