On Monday, September 28, 2009, Charles R. Aker, 80, of Pitcairn; husband of the late Eleanor Lorraine (Smith) Aker; father of Sandra L. Yackovich of Pitcairn and Robert C. (Donna L.) Aker of Pitcairn; brother of Roy Aker of MD and Dorothy Crandall of FL; grandfather of Courtney L. Aker. Chuck worked as a Security Guard for Westinghouse and retired after 35 years of service. Friends received Wednesday from 1-4 & 6-8 PM at the William O. Pearce Funeral Home, Inc., 318 Wall Avenue, Pitcairn, where service will be held on Thursday at 11AM.
