Lou Ashley Milling, 90, of 211 Georgia Ave., widow of Hugh David Milling, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Julia Wilson Ashley. She was a graduate of Honea Path High School and the Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing. She formerly worked at the Old Greenwood Hospital and retired as associate director of nursing at Self Memorial Hospital. She was a plant nurse for Westinghouse, a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and the Clifford Barrett Sunday School class.
Survivors include two sons, Hugh Ashley Milling and James David Milling, both of Greenwood; and two sisters, Eleanor A. Devore of Honea Path and Mildred A. Webb of Easley.
Graveside services are at 11 Saturday at First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Fred Smith.
Visitation will follow the services.
The family is at the home of Ashley and Roe Milling, 212 Georgia Ave.
Memorials may be made to First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 2107 Mt. Moriah Road, Greenwood, S.C., 29646 or to the charity of one's choice.
