She was born Edna M. Gaede on September 16, 1933 in Faithorn, the daughter of the late Herman Gaede and Carrie (Hansen) Gaede.
Edna Gaede married Frank Jacklovitz, Jr. on March 15, 1952 in Vulcan. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1993.
Edna and her husband were foster parents to many children. She was an avid Packer fan and always had a special Packer Sunday meal cooked for her son and grandsons. She loved working in her garden, cooking and baking. Especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Edna was survived by her children Linda (Robert) Miller of Vulcan, Victoria (William) Pipp of Vulcan, Sandra (Dave) Carey of Vulcan and Tracy (Jodi) Jacklovitz of Vulcan; grandchildren Robert (Amy) Miller of Ohio, Shad Miller of Sault Ste. Marie, Danielle (Chris) St. Vincent of Kingsford, Jeremy (Nikki) Pipp of Vulcan, Brian Miller of Norway, Carrie (PJ Opolka) Christiansen of Vulcan, Jessi (Josh Carlson) Carey of Vulcan and Riley Jacklovitz of Vulcan; great grandchildren Javen Carlson, Ashley (Shawn Caruso) and Tayler St. Vincent, Brendan, Tyler, and Siersha Miller, Marisa Pipp, Madison Miller, Ashlyn Opolka and Alec Christiansen; brother Edwin Gaede of Muskego, WI; cousins, many nieces and nephews; special neighbors Bill and Patsy Zanona of Vulcan; and special foster children Tony, Terry and Kevin.
