Mrs. Rose Shaffer, 38 years old, wife of Emery J. Shaffer of 815 East Finley avenue, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 6 a.m. today. She is survived by her husband, Emery J. Shaffer; two sons, Max Emery and Donald Steven Shaffer, at home; two brothers, Orville Channell of Des Moines and Arthur Channell of Ottumwa; one sister, Mrs. Sylvia Nason of Eldon. Mrs. Shaffer was a member of the Christian church at Eldon. The body was removed to the Johnson funeral chapel, where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at o'clock, conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery.
