She was born Sunday, September 6, 1914 in Rhinehart to the union of her parents, Jim and Bertha Alexander.
Mrs. Ford was a resident of Jonesville, and a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesville.
Services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 6, in the chapel of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Revs. Gary Norris and Craig James officiating.
Interment followed in the Alexander Cemetery of Rhinehart (sic) under direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel Ford; son, James Milton Ford; daughter, Frances Coldiron; her parents; sister Matilda Adams; and two brothers, Hardy Alexander and Milton Alexander.
