GREAT BEND - Services will be Monday at Bryant-Fryberger Mortuary here for Carroll M. Billingsley, 82, Great Bend, who died Friday night at a Great Bend hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1894 in Marysville. He lived in Topeka before moving to Great Bend in 1938.

He was a shoe salesman before he retired. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Great Bend.

He married Alta June Pritchard on July 3, 1920 in Liberty, Mo. She survives. Other survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Beverly Hornsby, Lawrence, Mrs. Nataile Herald, Great Bend, and Mrs. Meredith Ward, Norman, Okla.; a brother, C.B. Billingsley, Tulsa; a sister, Mrs. William Griffee, Kingsville, Tex.; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend.
