Anemone Love Binkley, 88, of Angleton, TX, formerly of Lovington, NM died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1918 in Lovington, NM. She married Robert Leon Binkley on June 21, 1938 in Roswell, NM. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Past President of Lea County Genealogical Society, was President of the Tumbleweed, was a member of the Library board and member of the Lovington Women's Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Wesley and husband, Ron of Lubbock; two sons, Mike Binkley and wife Ila of Desoto, TX and Jim Binkley of Danbury, TX; 8 grandchildren, Janice and Kent Faulkner, John and Melinda Binkley, Richard and Alicia Binkley, Kevin and Terri Binkley, Steve and Jan Collier, Greg and Leanne Collier, Scott and Melissa Collier, and Julie and David Womack; 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband in 2001, one brother and five sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dale Rhodes will officiate. Interment will be in Lovington Cemetery.
