Frank Edward Casey, Jr., 85 passed away on July 26th at Lawnwood Medical Center with his loving wife Bunny of 62 years at his side. He was born in Haverhill, NH the son of the late Frank E. and Sylvia J (Baker) Casey, Sr.

He grew up in Franconia, NH and enlisted in the US Air Force in 1949 serving in Okinawa during the Korean War. Later moved to Manchester, NH where he worked in insurance for over 30 years. He and his wife returned to Franconia, NH and established Casey's Adjustment Service. After retirement they moved to Ft. Pierce, FL to enjoy the sunshine.

Frank was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars for more than 30 years. He was the State of NH All American Commander in 1991-1992. Over the years he held numerous post, state, district and national positions within the VFW. In addition to being a member of the Whitefield, NH post #10675, he was a life member of the VFW, the National VFW Home for Children, and the DAV Chapter 14 in Ft. Pierce, FL as well as a life member of the Ft. Pierce, FL American Legion Post 40 and a member of the Littleton, NH Elks Lodge #1831. He was also a member of the Bethlehem Country Club, the NH MA VT and ME Adjusters Association, the Granite State Winnebago "Winne" Club, the Bethlehem Ski Club and several square dance clubs.

Beyond his involvement in civic organizations Frank enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, reading and traveling. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend with a wonderful sense of humor.

Frank is survived by beloved wife, Adelaide "Bunny" (Blaney) Casey; two children, Jeanne Kalinowski and husband, John of Plainville, CT, Roberta "Bobbi" Connelly and husband, James of Manchester NH; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Kalinowski) Gray and husband, Marsh "Corey" of Lake Mary, FL and Jamie Kalinowski of Plainville, CT, brothers and sisters, Helene Ramsay of Potsdam, NY, Charles "Butch" Casey of Franconia, NH, Sylvia Michael and husband, Orvel of Ladison, SC.

He was preceded in life by two sisters, Patricia and Joan.

He also enjoyed the loving support of Jon and Linda (Blaney) Whitcomb of Etna, NH, Brad and Sheila (Blaney) Reynolds of Ft. Pierce, FL and many nieces and nephews.

A military funeral will take place in late August at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

Donations may be made to a charity of choice in his name.
