Mrs. Leroy Sanders, formerly of this city, died sunday afternoon at her home in Terre Haute. The remains will arrive here on this afternoon's train, and the interment will be in Rose Hill. Rev. Probert will have charge of the funeral services.

Judson Sanders and daughter, Miss Ola, of Gosport, were in the city last night. They came to attend the funeral of Mrs. Leroy Sanders.

The remains of Mrs. Leroy Sanders were brought from Terre Haute to this city on the 3:45 train last evening. The body was immediately taken to Rose Hill for interment. At the cemetery short and impressive services were conducted by Rev. T. C. Probert. The following acted as pallbearers: James Karsell, C. F. Reed, Henry Woolery, J. F. Blewett, W. P. Rogers and Charles Tourner.

DEATH OF MRS. SANDERS

[Terre Haute Express] The death of Mrs. Frances Sanders, widow of the late Leroy Sanders, occurred at the family home, 413 North Sixth Street, Sunday night. Mrs. Sanders had been very ill for several weeks, and the end was expected. She was suffering from a complication of diseases when she was seized with pneumonia and the latter brought on her death. She was 64 years of age and leaves two daughters, Miss Beatrice, teacher of music in the Normal School, and Mrs. Avis Milam of Worthington. Custodian Vest of the state house, Indianapolis, is her brother.

Brief services were held at the residence on North Sixth Street this morning at ten o'clock, and at 12:30 the funeral party left for Bloomington, Ind.

The remains arrived here Tuesday afternoon from Terre Haute and were taken to the cemetery where they were interred by the side of her husband. At the grave, short services were conducted by Rev. Probert. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: James Karsell, C. F. Reed, Henry Woolery, J. F. Blewitt, W. P. Rogers and Charles Tourner. The following persons attended the funeral from a distance: Edgar Nebo of Terre Haute; C. W. Piper of Lafayette; S. M. Batty of Terre Haute; A. J. Sanders, B. O. Sanders, Samuel Sanders, Julia and Ola Sanders of Gosport; Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Milam of Worthington.
