Mr. Peace was a native of Marianna, FL., a resident of the U.S. Navy and a member of Excelsior Lodge #43 of AF&M. Mr. Peace received his mortuary science degree from Miami Dade Community College and was a former employee of Benboe Funeral Home.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Shirley Cook Peace; three beautiful children, Erica Peace, Aaron Peace, II., Monique P. Sweatman; his parents, Alma Smith and Claude Peace; his parents-in-law, Clara and Bernard Cook; four grandchildren; four sisters; four brothers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at Pope Chapel AME Church, Marianna, FL. with the Rev. S.E. McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in Pope Chapel AME Cemetery.
Benboe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday. Masonic services will be at 5:30 p.m.
