PORTALES, N.M. - Mack E. Ainsworth, 44, of Rogers, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with Skip Clark, Pat Boone and the Rev. Andy Hollinger officiating. Burial will be in Portales Cemetery. Mr. Ainsworth was born in Durango, Colo. He had been a lifetime resident of the Dora-Rogers community. He graduated from Dora High School in 1971. He was active in 4-H throughout his school career. He married Rhonda Coe in 1971 at Dora. Mr. Ainsworth served on the Dora School Board several years ago. He had been a member of a roping club for a number of years. He attended First Baptist Church of Dora. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Clay Ainsworth, Spence Ainsworth and Trey Ainsworth, all of the home; his mother, Bess "Betty'' Ainsworth of Portales; and a sister, Carol Ainsworth of Portales. The family requests memorials be to the New Mexico Baptist Children's Home. A family dinner will be at Word of Life Church on 18th Street after the burial.
