Miss Savilla Hinrichsen
Edward Hinrichsen of this city attended the funeral of his sister, Miss Savilla Hinrichsen in Springfield, held this morning at 10 o'clock from her late home. Burial was made in the cemetery at Jacksonville, Ill.
Miss Savilla Hinrichsen, for many years state librarian and prominent in Springfield literary circles, died Monday afternoon at her home. Miss Hinrichsen was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Hinrichsen, and was born near Alexander, Ill., in 1835. She was a charter member of the D.A.R. of Springfield, and also of the Authors' club.
Miss Hinrichsen had visited many times in Quincy at the home of her brother, Edward S. Hinrichsen, and had made many friends. Besides her brother, Edward S., of 1306 State street of Quincy, Miss Hinrichsen is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Fred George of Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Harold W. Johnston of Bloomington, and a brother, Mark F. of Mexico.
