New Bedford – Keith E. Bernier, 48, of New Bedford died August 24, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Nadine J. (DeMello) Bernier.
Mr. Bernier was born in Fall River, son of Beverly (Davis) Patnaude of Westport and the late Andre Bernier, and resided in Westport and Old Orchard Beach, Maine for many years before moving to New Bedford where he lived the past 8 years. He was employed by the Palace Playland Amusement Park in Old Orchard Beach, ME and later worked as a self-employed painter. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed making people laugh, and loved his dog but most of all loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his widow and mother, he is survived by a daughter: Nicole L. Bernier; three brothers: Michael C. Parandelis of Dartmouth, Mark J. Parandelis of N. Waterboro, ME, and Steven E. Patnaude of Middletown, RI; two grandchildren; and several uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
He was brother of the late Matthew Parandelis.
Funeral service on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport. Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
