Born May 14, 1936, in Manchester, he was the son of the late Harvey Henry Nott, Sr. and Dora Blanche Hudson Nott.
He was retired from the Transportation Department at Black & Decker where he had worked for 43 years. Following his retirement from Black & Decker, he worked for Wertz's Farm Equipment in Lineboro, Md.
He was a life member of Millers United Methodist Church where he had served on numerous boards, and sang in the choir and men's quartet. He was a life member of the Manchester Volunteer Fire Dept. and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children, Donald L. Nott, Jr. and wife, Karen of Manchester, Md., Vicki L. Stickles and husband, Bruce of Glenville, and Carol J. Macklin and husband, Jim of Hanover; his grandchildren, Danny and Denise Nott and Sam and Olivia Stickles; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Leila Mills, Hilda Weaver, Anna Armacost, Bernice Garrett, and John, William, and Harvey Nott, Jr.
