(NEE:GENNA) April 6, 2008. Theresa, the oldest daughter of Angelo and Giovannina Genna was born on July 22, 1919 in Terrasini, Italy. She attended Our Lady of Help and Miller High School. Theresa was a businesswoman ahead of her time. She worked with the Adamo Brothers and their wives managing the front counter of the dry cleaning business. She ran an efficient home from A-Z. Theresa had a passion for playing poker and pinochle with her family. She loved to dance with our dad, bowl, do water aerobics at Fitness USA, bake bread, and spend time in her garden. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Adamo and loving mother of Rose (Jim) Palmer, Joseph (Rosalie) Adamo and Phillip Adamo. Proud grandmother of Aimee, Jacob, Anthony, Joshua, Jeremy and Michael. Great grandmother to Quinn and Conner Renell and Brady Palmer. She is survived by six siblings and many loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of Theresa's wonderful life will be from 4:30- 9 p.m. and Rite of Christian Burial will be at 6 p.m. in the Barrister House, 21801 Harper, St. Clair Shores, Thursday, April 10, 2008. Memorials may be sent to Henry Ford Hospice, Alzheimer's Association or a memorial fund to be donated to a needy family.
