George Amador, a resident of Canjilon, was predeceased by his father Amador Lopez; mother Ercilia Mollohan; son George Lopez Jr.; Jose P. Montaño Sr. and Brian Montaño Sr.

George was survived by his companion Veronica Lopez of Canjilon; children: Deborah Archuleta and Ben Lopez (wife LeeAnn) of Española, Velvet Money of Rio Rancho, Clarissa Montaño and Georgia Montaño, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; siblings: Gene Lopez (Rosina) of Lyden, Leroy Lopez (Celina) of La Puebla, Charlotte Sanchez of Las Cruces, Chuck Mollohan of Santa Fe, Christina Melendez of Pittsburg, California, Andy Lopez (Kathy) of Antioch, California, and Lisa Lopez-Boone of Sacramento, California; grandchildren: Tony Valdez, Ricky Chavez, Anne Martinez, Ruby Lopez, Jenna, Renee and Michael Money, Jaydon and Jordon Esquerra; 10 great-grandchildren; Sally Montaño and Estevan Maestas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

George was a loving, caring, happy and active man. May he rest in peace.

A Rosary was recited 27 July 2014 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial Mass was on 28 July 2014 at San Juan de Nepomuceno Catholic Church in Canjilon.
