Our community was shocked Saturday morning to learn of the sudden death of Ambrose Tenney after an illness of only 48 hours with inflammation of the bowels. Mr. Tenney from his long residence in this vicinity was extensively known and enjoyed to a remarkable degree the confidence and respect of all who knew him. He was in every sense a good and true man. 1889 event.
