Iona married early to Jesse Butterfield Whitney. They had 4 children: Charles Edwin, Sidney Grant, Cora Elsie and Ada Brilla. After Jesse's death in 1881, Iona married Charles Franklin Wallace in 1883, also a widower, and they meshed their families. Charles Edwin and Sydney lived in the area, Cora died as a teen and Ada married, moved to the west coast, was widowed and then moved to Canada to marry again. After Charles Wallaces' death before the 1900 census, she lived with her son, Charles on the Orchard Hill farm for about 33 years. Later she lived with her son, Sidney, in Delevan until her death.
