Orangeburg, Sept 16 - Mrs Janie Anice Smoak Smoak, 80, widow of Lawrence Frederick Smoak, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs R F Baldwin, on Green street.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Ebenezer church at Cordova, with interment in Ebenezer Cemetery.
She is survived by the following children: Walter Smoak and Cecil I Smoak of Cope; Jervey J Smoak and Laurie C Smoak of Bamberg; Hubert W Smoak of Cordova; Mrs P M Wolfe, Mrs John C Hayden, and Mrs R P Baldwin of Orangeburg; Mrs L A Kennerly of Cordova; Mrs Connie Smoak Westbury [wife of William Washington Westbury] of Santa Barbara, California. She also leaves a large number of grandchildren.
