Alison Tarrants
Alison Tarrants, 87, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, in an area nursing home. She was retired from Union Underwear.
She was a member of the Richardsville Baptist Church, where she also belonged to the WMU women's group.
In addition to her husband, James Tarrants, she was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Nellie Basham; brother, Ellis Basham; and sister, Imogene Hightower.
Survivors include brother, Jerry Basham (Carolyn) and two sisters, Johnnie Young (B.B.) and Virginia Davenport, all of Bowling Green; sister-in-law, Marilyn Basham; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby and Son, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
