Mrs. Mary S. Rettew, 81, Spring City, died Saturday morning about 7 o'clock after an extended illness. Death was ascribed to a complication of ailments. She lived at 626 New Street. Mrs. Rettew lived for many years in the Birchrunville section before coming here about 20 years ago. She was a member of St. Matthew's Reformed Church.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Kimes and Nelson Funeral Home, 331 New Street. Further services were held at 2:30 o'clock in St. Matthew's Reformed Church. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
