Judith Peavyhouse Maddin departed this life July 20, 2014. Preceded in death by parents Merle Tipton Peavyhouse, Willie Carl Peavyhouse and first husband Glenn A. Ferguson. Judith was a graduate of York Agricultural Institute and achieved an R.N. at Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a supervisor in Labor and Delivery at Baptist Hospital and for a number of years as the occupational health nurse at Newspaper Printing Corp. and The Tennessean. Survived by loving husband William F. Maddin, son Glenn Maurice Ferguson (Sue), granddaughter Emily Katherine Ferguson and sister June P. Smith (Elza). A Celebration of Life will be held from five to seven o'clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Friday, July 25, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice or the Al Meuah Shriners Crippled Children's Fund.
