Theresa "Bee Bee" Gonzales

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Berchman Catholic Church in Cankton for Theresa "Bee Bee" Gonzales, age 82, the former Theresa Credeur, who passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 10:35 a.m. at Morgan City Health Care Center in Morgan City.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Lafayette. The Rev. Henry J. Broussard, pastor of St. John Berchman Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.
Ms. Gonzales was a former resident of Raceland for fifteen years from 1966 until 1979. She was a native and a resident of Vatican from 1979 until 2008 until she moved to Morgan City to be with her son. Ms. Gonzales was a cafeteria cook with Lafourche Parish School System. She was a parishioner of St. John Berchman Catholic Church in Cankton.
Survivors include one son, Leroy Joseph Gonzales and his fiancée, Susan Mendoza, of Morgan City; one daughter, Betty Adams and her wife, Dee of St. Augustine, TX; one grandson, Jarred Wayne Gonzales of Church Point; one great grandson, Christopher Wayne Kraemer of Pineville; two step grandchildren, Jacob Holley of Dallas, Jodi Lavespere of Morgan City; and one step great granddaughter, Sydni Lavespere of Pineville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Credeur and the former Mary Begnaud; one brother, Eudy Credeur; and two sisters, Lilly Mae Richard and Verdie Miller.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Sunday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Kermit Miller, Gerald Gonzales, Nelson Gonzales, Chad Menard, Markus Begnaud and Steven Capdebosc. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Begnaud and Elmo Begnaud.
