Mrs. Amy (Funk) Albright, 69, died at 3 a.m. Saturday in Jasper county hospital, Rensselaer, where she had been a patient since Sunday. She had been in ill health six years.

A native of Star City, she was married in 1903 at Monticello to Calvin Albright, who died in 1944. They resided in White county until 1929, when they moved to Brook. Mrs. Albright was a member of Brook Christian Church and American Legion auxiliary. She was designated a Gold Star mother, after her son, Galen, serving in the Navy aboard the USS Arizona, was killed at Pearl Harbor.

Surviving are five sons, Ray and Floyd of Chicago, Claude and Max of Las Vegas, Nev. and Donald of Brook; three daughters, Mrs. Jeannette Bodenstein of Chicago, Mrs. Mary Ballard of Medaryville and Mrs. Viola Willems of Brook; a grandson, Charles McGee, who was reared in the home; two brothers, George and Vincent Funk, both of Memphis, Tenn. and two sisters, Mrs. Blance Clouse and Mrs. Mary Nice, both of Headlee.

Funeral services were held at the Hershman & Weston funeral home on Monday afternoon. Rev. Sites of the Methodist church officiating and burial was made in Riverside cemetery.
