Mr. Abeita is also survived by two sons, Gene Abeita and Robert Abeita; one sister, Rufina Craven; two granddaughters, Carolyn Abeita and Cheryl Abeita; one great-granddaughter, Lia Abeita-Sanchez; a former daughter-in-law, Rosemary Abeita; and numerous other relatives and friends in Isleta.
