OF M'GRAW, DIES
Fay Allen, 68, a resident of Mc-
Graw for the past 28 years, died
suddenly yesterday at his home,
36 North St.
Born May 3, 1884, at Taylor, he
was the son of George and Char-
lotte Allen. Mr. Allen was em-
ployed for many years in the forg-
ing division of the Brewer-Titch-
ener Corp. He was a member of
the McGraw Baptist Church and
the Auburn Lodge, IOOF.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. An-
na Long Allen; a stepdaughter,
Mrs. Martin Caufield; a grand-
daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Hubbard;
two grandsons, Edward and James
Caufield, all of McGraw; a sister,
Mrs. Alice McEwen, Detroit,
Mich.; two brothers, Samuel Al-
len, Detroit, and Howard Allen,
Cortland, and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2
p. m. Thursday in the McGraw
Baptist Church. The Rev. Warren
Adams, pastor, McGraw Baptist
Church, will officiate. Friends
may call Wednesday afternoon
and evening at the late home. In-
terment will be in Cortland Rural
Cemetery.
