Donna Lee (Hurley) Ediger, 87, passed away July 23, 2014, in Loveland, Colorado.

She was born March 10, 1927, to Joseph and Alice (Hopkins) Hurley in Blackwell, Oklahoma.

She fell in love with Leonard Abe Ediger and later married him after his return from serving during WWII in McPherson, Kansas, on December 23, 1945. Together they began their family and moved to Longmont, Colorado, in 1958. She was a homemaker and worked at Great Western Sugar Factory for many years.

She had a passion for so many activities throughout her years including: sewing, crafts, cooking and baking, fishing, enjoying time with friends and family, dancing, music and sipping on a good margarita.

In recent years, she became an honorary member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA Iron Plains 3-4) and brought them into her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, and son, Gary.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Ziegler (John) of Wickenburg, Arizona, Terri Hill (Larry) in Loveland, and daughter-in-law, Marcia; 13 grandkids, 31 greats, 2 great great grandbabies, as well as her "adopted" Hill family and many friends.

Donna left behind a legacy in her family and shared her flare and infectious love for life with everyone she encountered. Her family and friends will be having a celebration in remembrance of her life and joyful spirit at a later date.
