Mrs. Pat Sampson, living seven miles south of Checotah, died early Monday morning after a long illness with consumption. She was 50 years of age and is survived by a husband and 5 children. The family have made their home south of Checotah for many years and Mrs. Sampson was highly respected and admired by a large circle of acquaintances and friends. Her husband Pat Sampson is also said to be quite critically ill. Funeral services weere held Tuesday with interrment in the Fishertown cemetery. Mr and Mrs. J. H. McKee came over from Oklahoma City to attend the funeral. Mrs. McKee, being a daughter of the deceased.
