AVERY GENE WORKMAN, age 57, died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at his residence.

resided in Mt. Olivet, KY



Born in Nicholas County, February 4, 1957 to the late Lucian and Betty Christina Jolly Workman,

he was retired from the Robertson County Road Department,

a member of Mayslick Lighthouse Church and the Robertson County Fire Department and loved to play guitar and sing.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hendrix Workman;
three daughters, Stephanie Jolly, Tiffany Jo Workman and Rachel (Jacob) Helser, all of Mt. Olivet;
two brothers, Calvin Workman, Nicholas County and Billy Joe (Sherry) Workman, Lexington;
four sisters, Phyllis (Doug) McCarty, Cynthiana, Janie Prather, Danville and Barbara Sue Myers and Deborah Louise (Warner) Ramey, both of Nicholas County
and two grandchildren, Natasha Michelle Jolly and Adalyn Reese Workman.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Danny Howard.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery.
