OELWEIN — Nancy Lee Guritz Cosselman, 57,
died of cancer Wednesday evening,
April 4, 2001, at the Cedar Valley
Hospice House in Waterloo.
There will be a private family, service.
Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein,
is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Feb. 6, 1944, in Oelwein,
the daughter of Willard A. and Ardelle E.
(Logan) Guritz.
She received her education from West
Central School at Maynard. On Nov. 1, 1985,
she married Kenneth Lee Cosselman at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein.
Nancy was a longtime Maynard and Oelwein
area resident. She was employed by the
Donaldson Corporation for 21 years. Nancy
enjoyed spending time at the family cabin
at Hartman's Landing, gardening and
sharing time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth;
three sons, Jeffrey Smith, Trent Smith
and Travis Smith, all of Oelwein; three
stepsons, Eric Cosselman of Littleton,
Colo., Todd Cosselman of Aurora, Colo., and
Kurt Cosselman of Oelwein; 10 grandchildren;
10 step-grandchildren; and three sisters,
Judy Bunn of Maynard, Jeanne Schulmeister
of Oelwein, and Eleanor Wasson of Fairbank.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family has
established a memorial fund for the Sacred
Heart School Library, 2123 S. Frederick Ave.,
Oelwein, Iowa 50662.
