Bob Wesley Martin, 66, of Macon, passed away at his home Saturday, April 5, 2014.
Bob was born June 25, 1948, in Dallas, TX, to William Wesley Martin and Martha Frances Haralson Martin.
Bob served in the United States Air Force as a Navigational Aids Equipment Technician for 21 years. During his tenure, he received many awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal, AP Outstanding Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon and others.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Preceding him in death are his parents and his stepfather, Paul Ray Cook.
He is survived by one sister and two brothers; his children, Miyuki Williams (Andrew) of Holliday, Michael Martin of Moberly and Melanie Martin of Moberly; six granddaughters and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 11, 2014, at 12:30 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on East Highway 24 in Moberly, with interment to follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the family C/O Michael Martin, 1887 East Highway 24, Moberly, MO 65270.
