Walterboro - B George Price, 70, city engiuneer of Walterboro, died Sunday at the Colleton Hospital after a sudden illness.
Mr Price was the son of the late Budd G Price and Rosa Fickling Price of Walterboro. He graduated from Walterboro High School and attended Furman University and The Citadel.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Walterboro Elks Club.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday from the Fred Parker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Thelma Gruber Price; two sons, B George Price III of Walterboro and Donald Gruber Price of Tampa, Fla; two brothers, F Fickling Price and Gerald Price of Walterboro; two sisters, Mrs C G Padgett and Mrs J J Padgett of Walterboro, and 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
