John J, Jost. Jr.. a Rawlins boy was killed on April 12th in the mines at Cripple creek by a misplaced shot. The deceased was born in Rawlins in 1880 and lived in this city until he attained manhood. He attended the Rawlins public schools here and is well known by the older residents of the city.
Funeral services were held in Cripple creek but the remains were brot to this city for burial. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the undertaking parlors. Rev J.J. Hicks officiating.
The father as well as the brothers and sisters attended the services here and the Odd Fellows lodge turned out and conducted the service at the grave.
