CAMPBELL – Mrs. Margaret Frances (Aunt Fannie) Reynolds, 107 years old and thought to be one of the oldest residents of Texas, died Thursday morning in a Fort Worth nursing home.

Born on Sep. 30, 1864 in Titus County, Mr. Reynolds would have been 108 in just 16 more days. She moved to Campbell as a child with her parents, David and Emaline Woodward Yancey and lived there most of her life. She was a member of the first class in the first school in Campbell.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Campbell Church of Christ and burial will be in Brigham Cemetery under direction of Jones Funeral Home in Commerce.

In 1882, she was married in Campbell to Fred P. Reynolds and the couple had been married 56 years when he died in 1938. Mrs. Reynolds was an active member of the Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A.G. Henson of Fort Worth and Mrs. R.V. Cavender of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Olivia Lacy of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Survivors living in Hunt County are two grandchildren, Fred Reynolds of Celeste and Mrs. W.G. Babb of Campbell, and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mattie Reynolds of Oak Manor in Commerce.
