Mrs. John Chapman died at her home near Granville last Saturday night of pneumonia. She was buried at Spencer's Chapel on Sunday. Deceased was a daughter of T. A. Baily [sic]. She was a good woman, highly esteemed by all her neighbors. She was a member of the Methodist church.
