Obituary from Herald Star, Steubenville, Ohio: Funeral services for Oscar N. Barr, 57, who died at 9 a.m. Friday at his home 104 South Street, wil be held at 2.p.m. Monday at the First Christiam Church.Burial will be made in Union cemetery. Death was attributed to complications, following a brief illness. Mr. Barr, who had been a barber in Mingo Junction for 35 years was born in Steubenville, Ohio on December 28, 1882,the son of Mrs Valerie Vienna Lowmiller Barr and the late John H.C.Barr, Besides his mother he leaves his wife, Mrs. Clara Barr, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Tice of Osage, Miss Mabel Barr, at home, two brothers, Robert Barr, Harry Barr, both of Steubenville, two sisters,Mrs. David Wilson of Steubenville and Mrs. Charles R. Keys, of Toledo, Ohio. He was a member of the First Christian Church. The body may be viewed at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mingo Juntion.
