Cliff was a US Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He retired from the Georgia Ports Authority as a crane mechanic. He was an avid fisherman. Cliff was well loved and loved everyone.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Rita Lynette Weitman Marcum; his sister Gladys Sallee Voils Marcum; brothers James C. Marcum, Cleveland Marcum, and Leroy Marcum.
He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Carole Marcum; his children, C. Douglas Marcum of Ellabell, Sheila and Roger Wentz of Brooklet; grandchildren, Clifford Marcum, Stephen Marcum, and Adam Wentz; great grandchildren, Ashley Marcum, and Bricelynn Marcum; his brothers Wallace Marcum, and Ray Marcum; sister-in-law Doris Marcum (James); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014, Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
Services are at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, Richmond Hill Funeral Home, with Rev. Gene Garrison officiating.
Burial will be in Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery, Richmond Hill, with Military Honors.
