Arnold H. (Arnie) Seelen, 88, Little Falls, died Monday, July 14, 2014, at the Harmony House in Little Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, July 18, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Jeremy Ploof officiating.

Arnie was born April 12, 1926, to Frank and Kathryn (Asmussen) Seelen. He grew up in Little Falls and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He married Josephine Balaski November 30, 1948, in St. Cloud. They made their home in Little Falls. He worked at the Hennepin Paper Company, retiring after 38 years, and was a lifetime member of the Little Falls VFW #1112.

Arnie was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Kathryn Seelen; wife Josephine Seelen; sisters Marge Mengelkock, Helen Stein, Delores Kafka; brothers Francis "Shorty", Joseph, and two infant brothers, Matthew and Francis Seelen.
