Mary Frances, was the daughter of Mary Knox and Elijah Cain, son of Martha Johnson, and John Cain.

♥ First wife of Thomas Samuel Cotten, Capt. Married 16 May 1863 in Amite Co, MS. Thomas was away from home much of the first 18 months of their marriage, serving in the Confederate Army.
