Martin 1887-1943 was then raised by his motherʻs second husband, Pieter (Peter) Hameetman, 1864-1929 and kept his fatherʻs last name as his middle name and his step fatherʻs last name as his last name. Pieter and his wife, Margaret (Grietje) Ferwerda are my husbandʻs great grandparents. I received this information from my husbandʻs grandmother who was a daughter of Pieter and Margaret.
