Wm. Aiken, of Milledgeville, died Sunday of pneumonia, aged 49 years. Deceased was well known throughout the entire county, and was a man noted for his many kind acts, steadfast democracy and sterling qualities. With the exception of three years spent in Louisville in his early manhood, his entire life was spent in this county. He leaves a wife and grown son, George, and was a brother of George D. R. Aiken, present member of the Legislature from the 50th Louisville district. To say that Bill Aiken will not be missed in the community, will be disputed by all, as he lent a willing car at all times to the needy, and gave employment to a great many men by his various enterprises. Verily, a good man is gone.
