Fred Bertrand died last night at his home on Fulton street, of hemorrhage of the lungs, aged 22 years. He leaves a wife and large circle of friends to mourn his early death.
Deceased was foreman at the DAILY EXPRESS office for a few months previous to the latter part of April, when his failing health prevented his working any more. He was an exemplary young man in every respect. The funeral will be held Friday morning.
