Charles "Chuck" Travis, age 76 of Marietta, Georgia, formerly from Skyline, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in Georgia. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Travis Cemetery.
Mr. Travis is survived by his sons – Charles "Chuckie" Travis of Farmington, Illinois, Jack Travis of Dallas, Georgia, Kenneth Travis of Marietta, Georgia, David (Peggy) Travis of Acworth, Georgia and Jeff (Penny) Travis of Ranger, Georgia; daughter – Kimberly (Tom) Chadwick of Kennesaw, Georgia; grandchildren – Matthew, Joshua, Joseph, Dianna, Jeremy, Brent and Lindey; five great grandchildren; brother – Calvin Travis of White Pigeon, Michigan; half brothers – Tony Payne of Marietta, Georgia and Johnny Payne of Dallas, Georgia; half sister – Linda Long of Etowah, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife – Kay Travis; father – Paul Travis; mother - Gladys Payne; brother – Robert Travis.
